 Owner, Dennis Dyon has always been fascinated with the martial arts and the skill that could be attained with hard work and discipline. He took that passion and started training in 1994 Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and earned his 2nd degree black belt under Sensei Neil Stolsmark.

Dennis became a Police Officer in 2000 and then in 2001 began to train officers in defense and tactics and professional communications. He was an adjunct instructor in "Defense And Arrests Tactics" at Gateway Technical College from 2002-2003.

Throughout his professional career, Dennis realized how important it was to be a well-rounded martial artists, so in he began to train in BJJ and Kickboxing. More recently Dennis became affiliated with Brian Ounkham from Okinawan Martial Arts. Sensei Ounkham is a seventh degree black belt under Hanshi Shiroma. Studying under Sensei Ounkham, Dennis has learned several ways to execute the same technique suited to the student's comfort level.
